Congratulations to Madeline!! I so admire long-distance runners, because I could never do it. Has Madeline thought about doing cross-country, too? (Tell her to do it.....the meets are great fun for parents.....you get to walk around in lovely places, instead of sitting on bleachers.)
I ran track in high school and was quite mediocre. However, my teammates were some of the nuttiest, funniest people I've ever met. If she does go with track or cross country, she won't regret it!
Farm-fresh meats with an old-fashioned taste. Corn-fed beef, heritage pork, pasture-raised chickens, free-range eggs. All without antibiotics or hormones.

jeannelle - she does have a couple of friends trying to talk her into cross country. But I think she's going to stick with volleyball :)
