Ahh, yes. I'm giddy with the privilege of mud boots these days, and still grinning from last night's decision that the time had finally come to stuff away the winter boots in the back, back of our storage.
Sigh. Mud boots are a lovely thought. We don't have good mud here -- just hard Georgia clay. The rain bounces off of the soil and then washes into the river (Chattahoochee).
Pretty soon you'll be able to go from barn boots to regular shoes. And then the temps will soar faster than you want them to. It was 83 here in north central Nebraska today. I got a sunburn.
Farm-fresh meats with an old-fashioned taste. Corn-fed beef, heritage pork, pasture-raised chickens, free-range eggs. All without antibiotics or hormones.
