Whew!

This time, the story has a happy ending! We got Ava back this morning. She'd been found a few miles southwest of here and brought into the vet clinic. My brother works there and called first thing this morning. She's so happy to be back on her porch, tormenting the cats!

We had the same experience last week. Our Shepherd mix Sheila took off with our Austalian Shepherd Banjo. Banjo came back the next day but Sheila didn't. A day after that we got a call from a woman about 5 miles from us that had found her going though her neighbors trash.
