Snowbound
Our little chicken house in the pasture sits snowbound. But before we know it the shed will be surrounded by fresh green spring grass, and busy with 3-week-old broiler chicks.

I hope the snow melts off soon or you're going to have to get chickens with reaaaallly long legs!!
The steaks were out of this world yummy and tender. Todd first thought, what a waste of a perfectly good can of beer (but since it's been sitting in our fridge for 8 months or so, he's obviously not drinking it), but it made all the difference in those cubed steaks. Good luck on your quilting - I'll look forward to seeing the finished product.
Hopefully we are at the tail end of snow for the winter - your poor chickens will be snowbound if it keeps up. It's still only 28 deg. here - I'm hoping for 50's sometime!!

oh tell me about it. I just tried to prune my trees in the windbreak. Some will have to wait since the drifts are so high.
