I very much enjoyed your easter photo. Just wanted to let you know that you inspired me to start my own blog. Your situation is very similar to mine, farm & family. Having just read your sows in review I can totally identify. Just culled a sow a month ago after spontainiously aborting a week before she was due. This was her 2nd bad litter, I am also a slow learner, lol. Just for info, she was a white pig. I realized a few days after we took her to process, (smokies & salami, totally yum!) That of the last two white sows I had, that none of them had done well, definately not as hardy as my Hamps. My Hamp sow just delivered last week in a new farrow area we built in the barn, with a wood floor instead of dirt, 6 born live, 6 still live today, woo hoo! I too have had my fair share of roll-overs. Thinking that the dirt floor isn't a good idea as they build a nest and the babies get stuck in there and get layed on. Just my two cents. Have a good one!
