I can't get over how they all look so different. I guess I'm used to seeing ordinary white chickens..
Strange looking chicken there with those feathers on it's head, or well you know what I mean! They are pretty. I always liked chickens, to raise that is, not necessarily in the stew pot! We always had chickens when I was growning up on the farm. For eating and for the eggs. It was always so much fun to gather the eggs!
I meant when I was GROWING up on the farm, not growning up! :)
It's so nice to see that my "first thing in the morning hairstyle" is also being sported by your chiken in the front of the photo! ;-) What a great shot -- love these pics!
That chicken with the 'do is a golden Polish rooster and he's one of my favorites. His "hat" is usually more fluffy than this, but winter weather seems to give him flat hair. I call him Jimmy, cuz he reminds me of Jimmy from Good Times for some reason.
