OK, where do you get the cats that aren't interested in eating the chickens?

We're going to get a kitten in another month or so, and I'm hoping that way it will grow up to leave them alone.

I think you've got the right idea getting a kitten. We got these cats as about half-grown kittens, and now they and their kittens hang out in the coop drinking the hens' water and curling up under the nest boxes. But we still don't trust them with baby chicks and make sure they stay out of the brooder.
